Health and Safety at Work Policy

It is the policy of the company to carry out all reasonably practicable measures to ensure the health and safety of all employees and sub-contractors and to prevent any damage to property as a result of our work operations.

The company believes that all accidents and injuries can be prevented by implementation of its policy, which can be achieved by complying with statutory regulations and actively promoting a positive attitude to all aspects of health, safety and welfare by all employees.

In pursuing this policy the company will:

  • Pay particular attention in providing information, instruction and training for its employees.
  • Ensure that all accidents are properly reported and investigated.
  • Require sub-contractors to adopt standards and attitudes consistent with no less than our own.

JA Glover’s strive for continual improvement in all areas of our work.

All Managers, together with their staff and with the assistance of the Safety Advisor, are responsible for observing and implementing this policy for those activities, which they control.

A successful policy requires the full ongoing co-operation of everyone.  Each person should remember to maintain a positive attitude with all aspects of health and safety, not only for themselves but also for others.
